Description:
A large brown and yellow dragonfly with blue eyes
Habitat:
On a plant alongside a grassy trail, less than 1/2 a city block from a fresh water lake (Lake Emma), marsh and woods
Notes:
I found many of these large dragonflies on a trail heading to Lake Emma this year, over the course of two or three weeks perhaps. In years past I felt lucky to see one or two, let alone be able to photograph them; this year I had to have seen dozens of them throughout that two or three week time period. Yeah!
