Probably an invasive Asian preying mantis. Those things get huge, and can eat hummingbirds. I've witnessed it. They are not something you want in your garden, if you prize baby birds or frogs. They are master predators. The native preying mantises are very small by comparison, and are great for eating bugs in your garden. They are most likely the prey of those godzilla mantises.
