Description:
Jet black beetle with red wings which are marked with a pair of black bands. Body length: 10 mm.
Habitat:
Dense forest with lots of undergrowths. Altitude about 2,000 m.
Notes:
I spotted this striking red beetle while returning from the local radio station after a programme. I was actually looking for them. And lo! This one's a new for me.
