Field Notes

Description:

mass of small eggs, very small, about 1mm each

Habitat:

tropical forest

Notes:

I spotted these tiny eggs near the visitors centre of Nam Nao National Park. These are so tiny that the tip of my finger looks gigantic in the second photo. In the same area I spotted many moths and butterflies.

Thanks harsuame and martin. They do seem to be linked together the same way. These could be some type of shield bug egg.
Dan, check these unidentified bug eggs to compare with yours http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8768015
Thanks for the comments! @martinl, thanks for your help. Yours is a great spotting too!
nicely arranged......
These do look like hemipteran bugs (stink bugs or assassin bugs). They often lay eggs in rafts and sometimes have spikes that form a mesh like this. The spikes also can look like eyelashes in the spiked shield bugs http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/8765188
