Field Notes

Description:

4mm from nose to end of the abdomen. Very long antenna (more than twice body length) very long slender legs. Not very inclined to jump. Caramel or tan spots and stripes and bands on a pale green. Round, protruding eyes.

Habitat:

in a garden of fish-bone ferns beneath an Ironbark tree in a wooded coastal suburban belt

Notes:

# caramel spider cricket (its more likely to be a katydid or katydid nymph
