The insect was around the research station in Foping Nature Reserve. It was not alive but still in great condition. It might have froze to death the previous night.

I appreciate the suggestion Mike but I'm not so sure this is the Asian Longhorned beetle. My spotting has a very rough and bumpy shell with 2 tufts of hair while the other has a shiny and smooth surface. Also the coloration seems to be a bit different.
Could be Ashish,thanks, but I need something more specific.
Look like a Boarer beetle.
