Field Notes

Description:

My first instinct is to think that this is a beetle, but I'm not sure. The hind legs suggest a hopper. Similar in shape and size to a firefly, but definitely not related.

Habitat:

In a field full of plants and wildflowers in Scurry, TX.

Very cool spot! As this isn't a hopper I am removing it from the Hoppers mission for you.
