Description:

I have no idea what these are. They are fairly small and when I first noticed them I thought they were a form of prawn.

Habitat:

Found dead in a cat food bowl that was recently filled with rain water.

Wow. Fascinating. I've never heard of "Lawn Shrimp" before. It looks a lot like "scuds"... the tiny freshwater shrimp I'd find frequently in stream studies. Never knew there was a terrestrial form. Very cool!
