Description:

Has a black and red spot that pokes up above the rest of it's body about one quarter of an inch away from the end of it's body. Oddly patterned head. Looks like it could really blend in on a dry tree. WHAT IS THIS CATERPILLAR?

Habitat:

Wood on deck.

Notes:

Looks like an inchworm but only loops up about half-way before extending.
