Field Notes

Description:

Small fish or minnow found in a puddle of seasonal rocky creek. Streamlined fish with wide head with large eyes. Fish was placed back in water after picture taken. The actual color of the fish was a bit lighter than the photo depicts.

Habitat:

Small fish found in a puddle of seasonal rocky creek. There were more seen in that small depression. Creek located in NE Arkansas Ozark Mountains near Ravenden Springs, AR.
