Field Notes

Description:

A very strange kind of inflorescence. They didn't bear any typical flower parts, just those fuzzy pink stalks with small light-coloured bracts. I came across just two plants, around 50cm tall, of this kind in the region.

Habitat:

Myristica swamps.
