here the rain is stop for 2 days but it going to fall from tomorrow and followiung days ,so mushrooms are in their pool for now :) and thanks both for your nice comments i love to know these kind of details about other places on earth :)

No sign of mushrooms in SF. It was raining hard till day before and then the sun came out . Must be confusing for the animals. Some came out to sun. They don't know whether to hibernate or bask in the sun. i saw a fledgling gopher sunning.and the it was run over:( Roadkill makes me sad.

Beautiful! We are into the fall mushroom season again! Actually, this autumn has not been so good for mushrooms, as it was dry and hot for longer than usual, (think beach on Oct 8!) and then it got cold faster than usual and most of the mushrooms turned to mush from the cold. Huh! what a disappointment. Last year was the best October for mushrooms ever!

Emma,tahnks,is raining a lot in last week,today was a gorgeous sun :) but there are mushrooms and fungus every where :) i love it and camping in the rain i have douzens of days camping in the rain,Gerês is the most raining place in Portugal and we use to go there fro weeks along,even in the winter,it was crazy years :) 70'and 80' we where free :)

Is it raining on your campsite! Must be fun to camp in the rain. Some people here like to do snow camping. One day we went about 500 ft on top of a campsite on Mt Diablo for girl scouts. it was overnite camping and the rains fell heavily and blew our tents away and the coyotes were howling and ...... it was quite an experience . :))
