It is about 2 and a half cm in length without the tail, it is really very small. I think I have ID it, it is either Pseudolychas pegleri or Pseudolychas ochraceus.
Cool! How big is your scorpion? I just found a teeny Centruroides hentzi in my garage... Lovely stripe down the back.
