Description:

This spider is one centimeter long. It has a large wide back, and is all black. This isn't very relevant but it's back right leg wasn't working!

Its difficult to tell because the picture is so dark. But EOL puts steatoda grossa as documented in Thailand. I could not find it clearly documented in Singapore. I think Thailand is close enough in climate and geographic region to believe that they very well could be in your location.
