Description:

I think it's a species of whiptail, but I'm not familiar with the species here. Any ID help is appreciated!

Yes, it's shedding, but both species have the stripes down the back like that.
Looking at it closer and zoomed in (I only have the one photo of this individual), I think it is mid-molt which is what is making it look funky. Only the bottom of the back and the top of the head have molted and everything else is covered in a gray skin layer.
Thanks guys, I'll look through my photos later and see if I have another helpful shot of this one.
It's either a six-lined racerunner or a laredo striped whiptail. Both are in range, and honestly I'm not sure how to tell them apart!
It might be one that has lost it's tail and regenerated another tail. I'm not too sure either. But it does look like the racerunners I've seen around my old house in Florida.
I've seen six-lined racerunners before, but i'm not sure that's what this is. they have stripes all the way down their tails and this one only has stripes on the body.
