Interestingly enough, the picture looks like a cloudless sulphur butterfly. It's a very wide spread butterfly in the southern United States. see for example, https://greennature.com/florida-butterflies/ I have also read that it is common in most of the Americas, including Brazil, where it goes by a different name.
