I was looking at Sundasciurus hippurus - the Horse-tailed Squirrel but am not 100% which is why I left the complete ident blank Emilie ... This was a little way away so given it's size I would go for the above probably

I think this is a species of Sundasciurus; they feed on soft bark, fruits and insects. Not sure about the species, but the thick fur and tail make it look like Sundasciurus hippurus. Sundasciurus tenuis is much more common in Thailand, but it is usually more slender.
