This could be a Telicota eurotas (Northern Sedge-darter) or a Cephrenes augiades (Orange Palm-dart), or even something else! Does anyone know?

thanks Chief RedEarth. Definitely looks like a Hobomok Skipper, but I think they are only found in Nth America. This one was spotted in Queensland, Australia.

thanks Agnes. Yes, I was also tossing up between the 3 and had sort of decided it was the Northern Sedge-darter. I'll wait and see if anyone else has any ideas before entering the ID.

Sorry, I have to delete my earlier suggestion (Ocybadistes walkeri). Tough one! Wing markings are the same(??!) for the 3 species and all can be found in Queensland.
