Description:

5-10cm?

Habitat:

sheltered, grassed area, occasionally disturbed by edge trimmer. underneath eucalypts along a steel fence. light breezes only. some afternoon sun at extreme angles although this spot was dappled shade.

Stephen, this nymph is a 'true bug' from the family pentatomide. You have also added some other bugs to the beetle (Coleoptera) mission and they do not belong there. The assassin bugs and harlequin bugs should be removed from this mission in order to keep the categories correct. Thank you for your understanding. (They can be easy to confuse; beetles have biting mouthparts and eat solid food. Bugs have sucking mouthparts and drink their food)
