Description:

Found this one along the mountainside on our way back from Iligan to Cagayan de Oro. We stopped at a little cottage where I had the chance to explore some of the wildlife there while me and my family were waiting for a little snack we ordered from the cottage/inn.

Habitat:

Along the mountainside of a tropical country. It was fairly cold.

Notes:

I think this plant belongs to the family Melastomaceae, but I'm not entirely sure.
