Description:

Black flying insect with orange bottom.

Habitat:

Sub tropical, residential neighbourhood of Brisbane, Australia, building a nest in an external laundry room.

Notes:

Seen constructing a nest with at least one other of same bug. Hoping to identify! Seems similar but not identical to Fire-tailed mud wasp.
