Description:

Brown and tan , spindle-shaped

Species ID Suggestions

Rabid Wolf Spider

Rabidosa rabida

Comments (1)

I *guarantee* this is a "grass spider" in the genus Agelenopsis, family Agelenidae. Long spinnerets rule out wolf spider and lynx spider. This one looks to be a male. Males wander away from their webs to find mates, especially at this time of year.
