Species ID Suggestions

Thanks for the link, J. As I understand it veligers are microscopic (as with clams). So this may be a juvenile, post 'set' and out growing its shell (if a species with indirect development). But it could be a 'direct development' species.or one of the smaller species. I culled this one from Despina's list: http://slugsite.us/bow/nudwk126.htm. Still hoping for an ID.
This looks like the pre-juvenile veliger stage: http://www.myfwc.com/research/saltwater/fishstats/commercial-fisheries/nudibranchs-of-florida/
Ah, Thank you, Despina. (This may take a minute, ha.)
It is a nudibranch, but the American species list is huge! http://slugsite.tierranet.com/lance.htm
I've never seen anything like that!
Claire have you seen anything similar on your coast? They were 'swimming' like nudibranchs, but I can't place them with any species indentified in the Indian River Lagoon.
