Field Notes

Notes:

Tragedy in my garden.
Parents at work.... These little birdies had nested on a chiku (sapota) tree in our garden. Had laid one egg and the parents took turns in incubating it.
However, I found the nest damaged and egg gone the today evening. frown emoticon I guess a bigger bird might've destroyed it.
I wish and pray that they succeed at their next nesting spot.
