My guess is the Squirrel Treefrog. It's clearly a treefrog from the appearance of his toes. The lack of a white stripe on the sides I think excludes it being an American Green Treefrog. Just adorable little guy - a little farther west than they typically get. I lived in Denton for 15 years and only saw toads - no true frogs. Frogs tend to remember where they get food - so if he showed up on your porch at night to get bugs attracted to your porch light, he may yet again return tomorrow so you can get more photos of him. If you handle the frog, make sure you wash your hands before eating or touching/rubbing your eyes.
