Description:

When we were herping we kept seeing these red eyes from up above it wasn't until the end we were able to get a good look at one of the creatures above. It just looked back at up and then some commented it's starting to rain, but we realized it was peeing on us. Luckily we ran before it got too heavy. I know this is an Olingo, but not sure the species. I think it is Bassaricyon gabbi, Bassaricyon alleni...?

Habitat:

I believe it is lower primary montane rainforest.

Notes:

This picture was taken near the Wildsumaco Biological Station.
