Helped it out of a parking lot. It wouldn't/couldn't fly. Placed it by a tree. I think it was dying.

At first glance I thought it might be an Emperor Gum Moth (Opodiphthera eucalypti) however I think Dan has it correct with Polyphemus moth (Antheraea polyphemus) both belong to the family Saturniidae...!
It is in pretty rough shape but still a great moth! This should be in the Arthropods category, not Other.
