Field Notes

Description:

Small purple single flowers. Leaves & stems fleshy and covered in hairs. Large patch growing on semi vertical rock face.

Habitat:

Rocks on the side of forest track

Notes:

Possibly Microchirita involucrata .... I found a patch a couple of years back growing in another place and sent some photos off to the Royal Botanic Society for identification but the photos were'nt good enough quality. Fingers crossed I have some better ones now for a positive ident
