Scaly on top, mushy bottom, smooth stem .:)

Habitat:

Up in the backyard gate out side of the house

Notes:

I am taking a pitcher inside cause it is dangerous down there! I would tell you if I knew what the type was, I think it is related to the 'chicken in the woods' is it?

Intriguing spotting, it looks like some kind of boletus or suillus, but the third picture is a bit confusing to me. I will try to find out.
