carolina mantis

Stagmomantis carolina

It is probably not S. carolina in California, they are not found there. More likely either Stagmomantis californica or Stagmomantis limbata. https://bugguide.net/node/view/7985 https://bugguide.net/node/view/149885
It has to be a nymph. It seems to be flightless.
I'm not really sure it could be Stagmomantis limbata or Stagmomantis carolina
