Wildlife Spotting

Pretty sure this is a wolf spider. I have them all over my yard, in my shed, around my pool, etc. While their bites hurt like hell, they aren't lethal. They get their common name wolf Spider because it has been believed that they hunt in packs for their prey. They move REALLY fast. And another cool thing about them is that they do not spin webs. This is because spiders who spin webs typically wait for their prey to come to them, whereas a wolf spider lives under rocks, in the grass, in wood piles, and even in the dirt/mud because they hunt for their prey. You will see them in the day or night because they hunt their prey, rather than it coming to them. They are pretty cool and generaly aren't too agressive unless their female/egg sac is being threatened. Hope this helps!
