Little nest in my fern hanging 4.5 feet off the ground in North East Texas.

Looks like you may have a cowbird egg in there as well....perhaps a Warbler nest? Cowbirds are notorious for laying an egg in a warbler's nest. The warbler then raises the cowbird as her own, often to the detriment of the baby warblers (or whatever species). It's not pretty, but it's natural.
