Ok Ms KarenL i do understand. I was just trying to help disseminate the information. Please take note that when I uploaded this spotting, there was no box yet to click that I own this spotting so I gave credit on the photo to the rightful owner. In this regard, may I ask permission to keep this spotting until I receive the formal decision from the copyright owner? I have already emailed senckenberg museum and De Lasalle University to ask permission to use this material. Thanks.
Hi Jolly, we realize you have posted this image to highlight a really important issue but unfortunately we can only accept your own photographs here unless we have the express permission of the original photographer. This has always been one of our terms & we have now further highlighted this by adding the ownership box that you now have to tick when a new spotting is added. We must ask you to delete this spotting. We have to be very strict here because if we allow users to share photos that they do not have permission to use we risk infringing copyright laws.
That seems to be a couragous crab; and a nature lover photographer =)
