The colour dose make me question ladybeetle, as you say and I have only seen them yellow. Everything is right for lady beetle but the colour, will see if I can find anything else. :-) interesting
thanks sara, yes they could be lady beetle eggs, it is the same tree where I found the lava, pupa and adults, but looking at wiki images, nearly all the eggs there are yellow! Have you seen them pearly white? I'll try and keep an eye on that leaf (if I can find it again)!
They are the right shape and amount in the cluster for Ladybeetle also. Interesting sighting, would love to know what they turn out to be :-)
