@Tukup: This hopper looks very much like a hopper nymph I photographed years ago: https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/147226005, which was ID'd by Juan di Trani based on this webpage: https://beetlesinthebush.com/2012/03/26/seeing-the-unseen/. I have also other photos of hoppers that have some similarity to this one: https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1567296274 and https://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1780936002. I hope you have an idea about them, because they have baffled me for a long time...
Most of the lanternfles I'm familiar with have pointed heads (exept for the peanut headed one) not broad heads like this. I was thinking more in the line of cicada, like this https://www.pinterest.se/pin/564357397051930286/
I am thinking of Fulgoridae, Mark. I am trying to find a match.
Any initial ideas to family level Sergio? Cixid? Achilid? Issid?
