So.. Is it a 'Ischyja manlia'? Does anybody know what it's common name is?
Hmm... I do not think this is Hemiphaea. I just challenged an ID on flickr, the ones from my links after looking at his link of some Ischyja sp. from Borneo. See my arguments in the link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sachingurule/2928761369/ This is Sachin's Manlia: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sachingurule/6158222088/ Some Ischyjas to compare: http://www.mothsofborneo.com/part-15-16/plate8.php
Noctuidae, Catacalinae, Ischyja sp.. Might be Ischyja manlia which is quite common. However, I am not sure about the species or other species found in India and I am not sure if all IDs on the web are really correct. This one is from an experienced moth'er: http://www.flickr.com/photos/sachingurule/6158222088/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/sachingurule/2928761369/
