Description:

Saw this tree in my neighborhood and fell in love with it right away. I have always been a huge fan of variegated plants so I would love to know what kind of tree this is. The size, spread and growth resembles a maple and at first that is what I thought it was but the leaves do not fit the maple profile.

Habitat:

Antelope California USA

I do know my neighbor pretty well...do you think it would start ok in a container first?
Leah, this tree is pretty easy to start. If you know who owns the tree, you might ask for a start and stick it in the ground. Use about 12 inches of a limb.
Oh nice...I really wanted to know cause I kinda want one for myself lol XD
It looks like the Vitex tree I have in my yard. It was the first thing I had to identify as a Master Gardener at the help desk.
