Field Notes

Description:

Medium-small moth with reddish head and muted brown tones on the outer wing. Underwing was very light brown and body was similar color. maybe 1/2in wingtip to wingtip

Habitat:

spotted in west central ga on my front porch

Notes:

I found several moths twitching and several large wolf spiders dead on my porch, wondered if the bug guy came by to spray, but didn't see a bill. The moths definitely appeared to be in distress.
