Description:

A 'nest' the size of a large fist, sealed at the top with mud. Would love to know what it is!

Habitat:

Was found on the outskirts of Alice Springs Desert Park, as shown in a shrubby bush.

Welcome to ProjectNoah Julie ! Great to see spottings from NT. When you have a minute, could you please add some information about this spotting in allocated spaces like where you found it ( ? plant species if known) and kind of place under "habitat" and anything about the structure like size, texture, etc. This looks like a cocoon of a Notodontid Moth but can't be certain.
