Zenaida auriculata

I agree with Eared Dove. Eared Dove is the South American counterpart to the Mourning Dove. They are sister species.
A Columbina minuta does not have the eye markings. My suggestion of the eared dove was bases on the diagonal line eye marking. It also has the dark wing tips and short tail. Bird Forum Opus has a full description; http://www.birdforum.net/opus/Eared_Dove
Maybe it is outside its normal range. It can always happen, but with zones changing, it is happening more often.
It does look similar to a Mourning dove, but Cornell Lab of Ornithology shows the range of the Mourning Dove only extending to Central America; http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Mourning_Dove/id
Looks like a Mourning Dove to me. Zenaida macroura http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mourning_Dove
