Wildlife Spotting

I could think of several possibilities but one common one with pods like this is Delonix regia. http://toptropicals.com/catalog/uid/delonix_regia.htm Check if it has lots of narrow parallel seed spaces when you open the pod, like in this picture: http://www.backyardnature.net/q/delonix.jpg

Is it a pod? Sorta hard to tell exactly what I'm looking at...
