Field Notes

Description:

This little frog, a little over a 1/2 inch long, was resting on this leaf in full sun, along a small road through dry, hilly tropical forest. It was incredibly hot and humid and it was there when I passed at 11 am and still there when I returned at 5.30 pm, in full sun, all day ! I noticed it because it was shining a silver colour in the sun.

Habitat:

dry, mountainous, tropical forest
