Description:

Swainson's (juvenile light morph) or Red-tailed (juvenile) hawk?

Habitat:

Spotted in eastern Washington along a farm road. It found a good perch on an irrigation system to look for prey. A warm sunny day with the wind blowing at around 20 mph.
