A normal sized grasshopper, about an inch long, very well camouflaged in an old garden, brownish tan in color with some black markings on legs and other parts.

Habitat:

Species ID Suggestions

Pasture Grasshopper

Orphulella speciosa

Comments (2)

I still can't totally rule out the Spotted-wing Grasshopper, Orphulella pelidna. More detailed images would help, as would more information on whether the habitat was moist or dry.
