Field Notes

Description:

Light brownish to tan, yellowish with nodules/knobs on the caps, slightly lighter colored gills, fairly thicker stem that widens towards the gills and again at the base. Growing in clusters. I thought they resemble wavy caps, but some apps for identification say they are in the honey family.

Habitat:

Wooded trails, among dead wood.
