Field Notes

Description:

Brown with a Bronze tint to the Lighter Brown. About the size of an American Foot Ball (Hand Egg Ball). On its head you will find two eyes on either side of its head.

Habitat:

Warm Tropical Water, Near Shore

Notes:

I caught this BEAUTIFUL creature when I was on vacation down in Puerto Rico, at Playa Crash Boat, using tuna chum. At first I thought I was reeling in a piece of drift wood, but as it began to skim the water I grew with excitement. I couldn't believe my eyes when I reeled it in. Being one of my favorite animals underwater I couldn't help but play with it for a while before releasing him. A lot of people gathered around and took pictures with it. It was so beautiful. I cant believe I had a chance to catch, hold and then release one of my favorite animals. Man oh man I will never forget this day.
