Field Notes

Habitat:

found on high rocks (not mountains just boulders) in turtle rocks

Notes:

Im very bad at identifying small mammals but it seemed like a squirrel except it was on the ground with 4 other squirrels so it was probably a woodchucks or something.

Species ID Suggestions

Rock Squirrel

Otospermophilus variegatus

Comments (1)

Looks like a rock squirrel, but hard to be sure without seeing more of the body.
