Field Notes

Description:

Large stick insects seen mating. The larger one appears to be the female and the smaller one, apparently the male, has bent its terminal body part and is attached to the bigger one. There is another smaller one from the top checking on them.

Habitat:

Farmland surrounded by large mixed forests. Warm place.

Notes:

I spotted them at a height where I could not use my DSLR for closeup/ macro photos.
They had visited the light and sheet put up for moths.
