Description:

Bright yellow flower on a shrub growing in the ecotone between cloud forest and pine-oak forest at 1850 meters above sea level. Several hummingbirds were feeding on its nectar, suggesting that hummingbirds may be involved in polinating the species.

Ecotone between cloud forest and pine-oak forest at 1850 meters above sea level
