Field Notes

Description:

This insect happens to be a type of bee. It stands on top of a honeycomb that was about 3 quarters of a foot long. The honeycomb itself was on the side of a tree of which was about 9 feet tall (estimated). The bee was about 2 cm long. Its 'base' color was yellow, with strange black patterns lined all over its entire body. It had six legs, two big black eyes, and two antennae right on its 'forehead,' so to speak.

Habitat:

Honeycomb (on the side of an unknown tree)

Notes:

There were about 4 or 5 more bees buzzing around this one.
